Steve is a lifelong resident of Southern California. Steve and his family have lived in Redondo Beach since 1976. He started a successful career at Farmers Insurance in 1976 and retired as a District Manager in 2016. While raising a family and running a business, he served the City of Redondo Beach for 20 years. Planning Commissioner for 4 years. Council Member for 8 years and Mayor for 4 years. Steve is a member and founding President of the Redondo Beach Rotary Club, a member of the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge. He spent 15 years involved with AYSO in Redondo Beach. Volunteer, Coach and Referee. His experience in the Insurance industry and the political arena has given him a unique perspective on the local economy and a plethora of business contacts. His passions are family, new Grand babies, building Monarch Butterfly habitats and enjoying people. He has been in the Real Estate industry for 4 years. While BUTTERFLY HABITATS are a passion, he wants to spend more time helping people buy or sell their habitat!
